Nova Cannabis Stores Limited Partnership’s Value Buds Stony Plain West is hiring a Keyholder / Shift Lead for cannabis retail. You will greet customers, provide product education, manage daily store operations, and run the POS during your shift.

We seek a reliable team player with retail or hospitality experience, strong communication, and the ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment. Eligible for cannabis education certifications and compliant with provincial age requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous retail, customer service, or hospitality experience.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
• Cannabis selling certification (Selling It Right, SellSafe, CRTP, CRWTP, or CanSell)
• Minimum age requirement based on province (18/19+)
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
• Eligible to pass a Criminal Record Check

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming experience for every customer
• Provide product recommendations and cannabis education
• Support daily operations including merchandising and store upkeep
• Operate the POS, handle payments, and issue receipts
• Restock shelves, receive deliveries, and complete basic inventory checks
• Ensure compliance with cannabis regulations, including ID verification
