Job summary

Value Buds is looking for a motivated Customer Experience Representative to be the face of our brand in-store, helping customers navigate cannabis products and making every visit welcoming.

You will assist customers with product recommendations, operate the POS, restock shelves, and ensure regulatory compliance. This role suits someone who enjoys building relationships and working in a fast-growing cannabis retail environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service, retail or hospitality experience is an asset.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
• Cannabis selling certification (Selling It Right, SellSafe, CRTP, CRWTP, or CanSell).
• Minimum age requirement based on province (18/19+).
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Eligible to pass a Criminal Record Check.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming experience for every customer.
• Provide product recommendations and cannabis education.
• Operate the POS, handle payments, and issue receipts.
• Restock shelves and support basic inventory tasks.
• Ensure compliance with cannabis regulations, including ID verification.
