Job summary

Value Buds is seeking a motivated Customer Experience Representative to join our team as a Retail Sales Associate – Cannabis. You’ll be the face of our brand, providing exceptional service while helping customers navigate the exciting world of cannabis.

This role focuses on creating a welcoming experience, making product recommendations, operating the POS, restocking shelves, and ensuring ID verification and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Customer service, retail or hospitality background is preferred.
• Cannabis selling certification (Selling It Right, SellSafe, CRTP, CRWTP, or CanSell) required/advantageous.
• Minimum age as per province (18/19+).
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming experience for every customer.
• Provide product recommendations and cannabis education.
• Operate the POS, handle payments, and issue receipts.
• Restock shelves and support basic inventory tasks.
• Ensure compliance with cannabis regulations, including ID verification.
