Job summary

Amazon Canada is seeking an experienced Professional Services Area Sales Leader for Canada Public Sector to drive ProServe sales and go-to-market across federal, provincial, healthcare, and education sectors.

You will lead a high-performing team of account executives and technical sellers, set quotas, coach staff, shape offerings, and partner with delivery leaders to ensure engagement excellence and strong revenue growth, with 25–50% travel across Canada.

Qualifications

15+ years of IT sales experience in enterprise environments.
Experience with P&L responsibility and delivering strong financial results.
Experience managing large teams across multiple locations and languages.
BA/BS degree in a technical field (CS, Engineering, Physics, Math, or equivalent).
10+ years leading services sales or consulting in the public sector.
5+ years of manager-of-managers experience in technology settings.
Eligibility for Secret level clearance with the Federal Government of Canada.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a high‑performing team of Account Executives and technical sellers across Canada.
Develop and implement sales strategies to meet team targets and drive revenue growth across federal, defence, provincial, healthcare, and education sectors.
Cultivate executive customer relationships across Canadian Public Sector organizations and shape new opportunities.
Leverage AWS knowledge to guide sellers in proposing optimal solutions aligned to customer objectives.
Monitor KPIs, forecast rigor, and manage risk to optimize operations and outcomes.
Partner with Delivery Leader to ensure engagement quality and delivery excellence.
Build and leverage a partner ecosystem with SIs, ISVs, and MSPs delivering cloud IT services in Canada.
