Job summary

Walmart Canada at 5995 Steeles Ave E, Scarborough, ON M1V 5P7, is hiring for a maintenance cleaning role. You will participate in a structured cleaning program to help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming shopping and working environment, including cleaning floors, fixtures, coolers and display areas and supporting daily sanitation tasks.

The position starts at a minimum rate of 18.05 per hour. Typical duties include coordinating with the Stocking Coach and store associates on cleaning regimens,

• Complies with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments include coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Assist in the inspection all maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures sufficient supplies are available.
• Promotes a safe working environment by ensuring completion of required in-store certification programs and work in accordance with all Company policies and procedures.
• When required, clean floors following a system of; mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets, including all non-sales floor areas.
