Job summary

Walmart Canada in Milton, ON is seeking an in-store Cleaning Associate to participate in a structured maintenance cleaning program and help control costs to maintain a clean, safe shopping and working environment.

You will work with the Stocking 3 Coach and store associates on cleaning regimens, follow food safety standards, and perform routine cleaning of fresh departments, coolers, freezers, and display fixtures.

• Communicates with the Stocking 3 Coach and cooperates with the associates on a comprehensive cleaning regiment.
• Complies with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments include coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Assist in the inspection all maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures sufficient supplies are available.
• Promotes a safe working environment by ensuring completion of required in-store certification programs and work in accordance with all Company policies and procedures
• When required, clean floors following a system of; mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets, including all non-sales floor areas.
