Walmart Canada is seeking a maintenance cleaning associate in Ottawa, ON to participate in a structured cleaning program while controlling expenses to maintain a clean and safe shopping environment. The role involves coordinating with stocking staff, adhering to food safety standards and cold chain guidelines, and performing routine cleaning of Fresh Departments, coolers, freezers, and fixtures.

• Communicates with the Stocking 3 Coach and cooperates with the associates on a comprehensive cleaning regiment.
• Complies with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments include coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Assist in the inspection all maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures sufficient supplies are available.
• Promotes a safe working environment by ensuring completion of required in-store certification programs and work in accordance with all Company policies and procedures
• When required, clean floors following a system of; mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets, including all non-sales floor areas.
