Job summary

Walmart Canada in Kingston, Ontario, is seeking a team member to participate in a structured maintenance cleaning program to keep a clean and safe shopping and working environment. The role involves coordinating with store staff, following food safety standards, and ensuring cleaning of all Fresh Departments and fixtures.

The position requires adherence to in-store certification programs and company policies, with hands-on cleaning duties across floors, coolers, freezers and displays.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with the Stocking 3 Coach and cooperates with the associates on a comprehensive cleaning regiment.
• Complies with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments including coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Assist in the inspection of all maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures sufficient supplies are available.
• Promotes a safe working environment by ensuring completion of required in-store certification programs and work in accordance with all Company policies and procedures.
• When required, clean floors following a system of mop, sweep, vacuum and maintain carpets, including all non-sales floor areas.
