Job summary

Walmart Canada in Richmond Hill is seeking a dedicated cleaner to participate in a structured maintenance cleaning program. You will help maintain a clean and safe shopping and working environment while supporting cost controls and food safety standards.

Key responsibilities include cleaning Fresh Departments, assisting with equipment inspections, and completing in-store certification programs to promote a safe workplace.

• Complies with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments include coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Assist in the inspection all maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures sufficient supplies are available.
• Promotes a safe working environment by ensuring completion of required in-store certification programs and work in accordance with all Company policies and procedures.
• When required, clean floors following a system of; mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets, including all non-sales floor areas.
