Job summary

Walmart Canada is hiring for a maintenance cleaning role in Edson, AB. The position involves participating in a structured cleaning program to control expenses while maintaining a clean and safe shopping and working environment.

You will communicate with the Stocking 3 Coach and associates, comply with Food Safety standards, clean all Fresh Departments including coolers and freezers, inspect equipment, and ensure supplies are available. Salary starts at CAD 16.45 per hour.

• Comply with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Execute timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments including coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Inspect maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensure supplies are available.
• Promote a safe working environment by completing required in-store certification programs and adhering to Company policies and procedures.
• Clean floors as needed by mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets in non-sales areas.

• Promotes a safe working environment by ensuring completion of required in-store certification programs and work in accordance with all Company policies and procedures
• When required, clean floors following a system of; mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets, including all non-sales floor areas.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $16.45.
