Job summary

Walmart Canada in Edmonton is seeking a maintenance cleaning associate to participate in a structured cleaning program and help maintain a clean and safe shopping and working environment.

You will adhere to Food Safety standards, clean Fresh Departments (coolers, freezers, display fixtures), inspect equipment, and ensure supplies are available. The role supports safe operations and follows all company policies with minimal supervision.

• Communicates with the Stocking 3 Coach and cooperates with the associates on a comprehensive cleaning regiment.
• Complies with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments include coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Assist in the inspection all maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures sufficient supplies are available.
• Promotes a safe working environment by ensuring completion of required in-store certification programs and work in accordance with all Company policies and procedures
• When required, clean floors following a system of; mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets, including all non-sales floor areas.
