Job summary

Walmart Canada in Brooks, AB is seeking a dedicated maintenance cleaner to participate in a structured cleaning program, ensuring a clean and safe shopping and working environment for customers and associates.

You will follow food safety standards, inspect equipment, and perform cleaning tasks across the store, including coolers, freezers, and display fixtures, while supporting supply needs and certifications. The role starts at an hourly rate of $16.45 CAD.

• Communicates with the Stocking 3 Coach and cooperates with the associates on a comprehensive cleaning regiment.
• Complies with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments include coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Assist in the inspection all maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures sufficient supplies are available.
• Promotes a safe working environment by ensuring completion of required in-store certification programs and work in accordance with all Company policies and procedures
• When required, clean floors following a system of; mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets, including all non-sales floor areas.
