Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking a maintenance cleaning associate to participate in a structured cleaning program while helping to control expenses and maintain a clean, safe shopping and work environment. You will work with the Stocking 3 Coach and store associates on a comprehensive cleaning regiment, ensuring compliance with Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.

The role includes cleaning Fresh Departments, inspecting equipment, restocking supplies and completing in-store certification

Qualifications

• Age – 18 or older.
• Ability to comply with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with the Stocking 3 Coach and cooperates with the associates on a comprehensive cleaning regiment.
• Complies with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments including coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Assist in the inspection of all maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures sufficient supplies are available.
• Promotes a safe working environment by ensuring completion of required in-store certification programs and work in accordance with all Company policies and procedures.
• When required, clean floors following a system of; mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets, including all non-sales floor areas.
