Job summary

Walmart Canada in Brockville, ON is seeking a part-time maintenance cleaner to participate in a structured cleaning program while controlling expenses for a clean and safe shopping environment.

You will follow cleaning protocols, assist in monitoring equipment, and ensure compliance with Food Safety standards; duties include cleaning coolers, freezers and displays, and maintaining non-sales floors as needed.

• Communicates with the Stocking 3 Coach and cooperates with associates on a cleaning regimen.
• Complies with Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments, including coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Inspects maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and supplies.
• Promotes a safe working environment by completing required in-store certification programs and following company policies.
• Cleans floors by mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets in non-sales areas when required.

What you’ll do

• Communicates with the Stocking 3 Coach and cooperates with the associates on a comprehensive cleaning regiment.
• Complies with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments include coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Assist in the inspection all maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures sufficient supplies are available.
• Promotes a safe working environment by ensuring completion of required in-store certification programs and work in accordance with all Company policies and procedures
• When required, clean floors following a system of; mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets, including all non-sales floor areas.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $18.05. Le taux horaire minimum pour ce poste débute à 18.05.
