Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous Subway experience in a Supervisor, Assistant Manager or equivalent leadership position.
• Experience supervising employees and coordinating daily restaurant operations.
• Strong knowledge of Subway food preparation, operating procedures, product standards, and customer service expectations.
• Current food safety certification, or the ability to obtain certification as required.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Availability and commitment to work full-time hours, including shifts aligned with campus operating requirements.
• Experience with inventory management, food cost control, cash reconciliation, scheduling, and operational reporting.
• Experience training and coaching employees.
• Experience working in a high-volume quick-service restaurant or institutional food service environment.

Responsibilities

• Daily Operations & Hands-On Service: Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening/closing, shift coordination, and workflow; support service during peak periods; ensure quality and brand standards.
• Team Leadership & Supervision: Provide hands-on leadership, assign duties, coordinate breaks, monitor productivity, and support onboarding and coaching.
• Customer Service: Lead by example with friendly, professional service; address questions and complaints promptly.
• Food Safety, Inventory & Cost Control: Ensure compliance with safety regs; monitor temperatures, labeling, storage, rotation; manage inventory and waste.
• Administration & Communication: Oversee cash handling, checklists, reporting, scheduling, and communications with the Food Service Director.
