Job summary

Subway Group in British Columbia (Electoral Area A) is seeking a hands-on supervisor to oversee food preparation and service at the brick-and-mortar location. You will train staff, monitor sanitation and safety, estimate ingredients, handle customer concerns, and maintain inventory and reporting.

The role requires a Secondary school certificate, a Food Safety and Safe Food Handling certificate, and 1 year to 2 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Secondary school graduation certificate is required.
• Food Safety Certificate and Safe Food Handling certificate required.
• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related role.
• On-site work only; no remote option.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures.
• Estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation.
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
• Address customers' complaints or concerns.
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage.
• Prepare and submit reports.
• Establish work schedules.
