Job summary

Dexterra Group is seeking a Breakfast Cook at a world-class camp facility. The role runs on a 20 days on / 10 days off rotation with 11–12 hour days. Transportation to site is provided from select dispatch locations.

You will prepare breakfast and baked goods to high standards while ensuring safety and sanitation in a fast-paced kitchen. We offer extended health and dental benefits, paid travel time, and a growth-focused environment as we continue to expand.

Qualifications

• Red Seal or culinary education required or in progress.
• FoodSafe Level I required; WHMIS knowledge is an asset.
• Minimum 3 years’ cooking and baking in large-scale settings.
• Experience baking for large numbers; supervisory experience is an asset.
• Able to stand long hours and lift up to 35 pounds; safety-first approach.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook breakfast for up to 70 clients.
• Create menus and follow production schedules for quality.
• Wrap and date baked goods according to schedule.
• Maintain food hygiene and safety per regulations.
• Operate and sanitize kitchen equipment; uphold cleanliness.
