Job summary

Dexterra Group is seeking a First Cook to work at a world-class camp facility. The role involves preparing and cooking main meals to high standards, with shifts of 20 days on and 10 days off and 10–12 hour workdays. Transportation to site is provided from select locations.

The candidate will cook a variety of dishes, ensure food safety and quality, and support kitchen operations while maintaining budget and cleanliness. This safety-sensitive position requires drug and alcohol testing.

Qualifications

• Safety-conscious and able to follow safety procedures.
• Strong cooking knowledge across multiple cuisines and techniques.
• Experience in fast-paced hospitality or camp kitchens preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cook a variety of meals including meats, seafood, soups, poultry, vegetables.
• Use diverse cooking methods to prepare top-quality food.
• Maintain meals within allocated food budget and portions.
