Business Process Analyst – HR (contract)

Toronto, ON

Introduction:

We are looking for a project-focused, cross-functional analyst who can support HR transformation and operational excellence projects — particularly in health and welfare benefits, employee experience, and process improvement. This is a strategic and operational role, combining elements of project management, data analysis, business process redesign, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and document current-state HR processes (esp. benefits, rewards).
• Gather requirements from HR teams and business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to define and implement improvements.
• Manage project timelines, milestones, risks, and communications.
• Track, measure, and report on project success metrics.
• Support change adoption for new HR tools or programs.
• Contribute to knowledge management and continuous improvement.
• Excel (advanced), Power BI (preferred), JIRA, Asana, MS Project
• Process mapping tools (e.g., Visio or Lucidchart)
• HRIS / Benefits platforms (experience with Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, etc. a plus)
• Lean or Six Sigma knowledge (not required but advantageous)

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in HR project management, business analysis, or operational excellence.
• Strong HR systems and benefits exposure, ideally within a large matrixed environment.
• Analytically sharp and able to synthesize data for insights (Excel, Power BI).
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders, including vendors and HR business partners.
• Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma, change management, and project lifecycles.
