Position Summary
The Patient Education Resource Coordinator helps create a culture of patient education and engagement at UHN by participating in the production cycle of UHN patient education publications. The Resource Coordinator ensures that all UHN print and electronic patient education publications are written at a level that is appropriate to the needs and literacy levels of UHN patients and their families. The principal responsibilities include: reviewing and editing all UHN patient education publications; acting as a communications consultant both for authors of patient education material and the internal and external needs of the Patient Education Program; maintaining Patient Education Program editorial policy and publishing procedures.
