The Opportunity :

As the Business Development Representative, you will drive growth by promoting innovative product solutions with a strong focus on engineering engagement. This role emphasizes business development within the Vancouver construction and engineering market, particularly among technical decision-makers.

What You’ll Be Doing :

1. Identify and develop new business opportunities, with a focus on engineering and technical stakeholders.
2. Leverage established relationships in the Vancouver market to drive product adoption and meet technical specifications.
3. Operate autonomously while collaborating with a high-performing team to build awareness of technical product capabilities.
4. Maintain a deep understanding of product applications and write technical specifications to support project success.
5. Lead stakeholder engagement efforts, including facilitating councils with engineers, owners, and executives to support strategic growth.

What You’ll Need To Be Successful :

1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or BCom; a Master’s or MBA is an asset.
2. Extensive experience in construction and engineering, with strong ties in the Vancouver market.
3. Proven success in technical sales, account management, and complex decision-making environments.
4. Strong engineering skills with the ability to write and present design specifications.
5. Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
6. Willingness to travel as needed to support client and stakeholder engagement.
