Triple M Metal LP is seeking a Business Development Representative in Brampton to purchase scrap metal from industrial accounts, focusing on manufacturers and distributors. You will identify new prospective accounts, build strong supplier relationships, and develop scrap management programs that create long-term value for both customers and the company.

You will travel 2–3 days weekly, leverage Salesforce CRM, and collaborate with internal teams on pricing and proposals to deliver compelling

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of sales experience preferred.
• Strong relationship management skills.
• Advanced Excel experience preferred; foundational Excel required.
• Willingness to travel 2–3 days weekly.
• Experience with Salesforce CRM.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Team player with good problem-solving ability.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and create actionable plans.

Responsibilities

The Business Development Representative is responsible for purchasing scrap metal from industrial accounts, specifically manufacturers, distributors, and similar businesses. This role focuses on identifying new prospective accounts, building strong supplier relationships, and developing scrap management programs that create long-term value for both the customer and Triple M Metal.

Responsibilities

• Search for new accounts to prospect, in addition to using the list provided
• Develop relationships with prospective suppliers
• Create and implement scrap management programs
• Generate new business through cold calling, cold emailing, and/or cold knocking
• Enter activities and interactions into CRM (Salesforce)
• Work with internal teams to develop pricing and proposals to deliver to prospective accounts
• Taking part in industry-based Networking Events
• Additional duties as requested

Skills & Qualifications

• 2-3 years of previous sales experience considered a strong asset
• Strong relationship management skills
• Effective time and workload management
• Advanced Excel skills considered an asset; foundational experience required
• Ability to travel for work — on the road 2 to 3 days weekly
• Previous CRM experience required; experience with Salesforce considered a strong asset
• Strong organizational skills
• Team player
• Strong problem-solving ability
• Ability to navigate ambiguity by identifying the situation at hand and creating a clear action plan
