Aplin is partnering with an Alberta-based engineering and manufacturing company to hire a Business Development Manager for a large Northwest Alberta and Northeast British Columbia territory. The role is home-office based with travel, covering Grande Prairie, Fort St. John, and nearby areas.
You will lead proactive new business development, win new clients, and expand revenue with upstream oil & gas producers. Aplin supports a strong sales and engineering team.

We are seeking atrue hunterbased in theGrande Prairie or Fort St. John areawho enjoys prospecting, opening doors, building relationships, and winning new business. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven sales professional who wants to take ownership of a large territory and make a measurable impact on revenue and market growth.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Canadian Sales Manager, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and winning new business with upstream oil & gas producers throughoutNorthwest Alberta and Northeast British Columbia.
While you’ll inherit a small portfolio of existing customers, the primary focus will be onnew business development— identifying prospects, creating opportunities, developing relationships, and expanding the company’s presence across the territory.
You’ll be supported by an experienced team of engineers, technologists, and technical specialists and will act as a trusted advisor to operations teams, production personnel, engineers, and corporate decision-makers.
This is primarily a sales and business development role — not a field service position.Dedicated technical and field service teams handle equipment installation, service, and troubleshooting, allowing you to focus on selling and developing customer relationships.
