Neighbourly Pharmacy is looking for a Business Development Manager in Eastern Canada to join our dynamic Corporate Development team, supporting the growth of nearly 300 pharmacy locations across Canada. Our Support Office is located in Toronto, Ontario.

Location:

This role is remote with frequent travel throughout Eastern Canada, and occasional national travel.

Job Description:

Reporting to the Vice President, Business Development, the Business Development Manager will identify and pursue new business opportunities, build client relationships, and drive an acquisition pipeline to support sustainable growth. This role is key to expanding our market presence and achieving strategic growth objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and Develop New Business Opportunities:
  • Research potential acquisitions, partnerships, and markets in the retail pharmacy sector.
  • Develop strategies to establish relationships with pharmacies, especially in Eastern Canada.
  • Create and strengthen relationships with pharmacy owners and industry stakeholders.
  • Work with the Vice President to identify suitable locations for acquisition.
  • Maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with independent pharmacy owners.
  • Understand their needs to offer tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Development team to complete acquisitions.

Reporting:

  • Use CRM platform to track Business Development activities accurately.
  • Report on the pipeline regularly and promptly.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, Sales, or related field.
  • Proven success in Business Development.
  • Pharmacy industry experience and contacts are preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to travel to meet pharmacy owners and attend industry events.
