Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking a Manager, Business Development for Data Ventures to drive sales of Walmart Scintilla subscriptions and forge strategic partnerships. You will present the platform's data-driven value to suppliers and merchants and expand the customer base while guiding cross-functional teams.

The role requires a strong background in data analytics, sales excellence, and excellent stakeholder management, with responsibilities spanning presentations, contract negotiations, pipeline

Qualifications

• Requires 7+ years in sales, business development, or related roles, preferably in data analytics or tech.
• Deep understanding of data analytics and its business applications.
• Knowledge of syndicated POS data (NielsenIQ/Circana/SPINS, etc.).
• Experience with primary research methods and analytics.
• Familiarity with eCommerce analytics and path-to-purchase data.
• Experience with retail media targeting and advertising analytics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve Scintilla subscription revenue targets.
• Identify target clients that can benefit from Scintilla offerings.
• Conduct market research to understand trends and customer needs.
• Establish and maintain relationships with internal teams and clients.
• Deliver presentations and product demos to showcase Scintilla value.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals for subscriptions.
• Collaborate with product and marketing to align sales initiatives.
• Monitor sales performance and report to senior management.
