Job Title: Business Development Executive – Inbound Sales (Professional Services)

Position Overview

We’re seeking a Business Development Executive responsible for converting inbound leads into closed retained search engagements. This is not a cold-calling grind — it’s a high-impact, consultative role working with companies that already recognize the need for sales talent and are ready to engage.

You’ll be supported by a sales admin team that handles contracts, proposals, and operational logistics. Your core focus will be on driving revenue through inbound sales, managing the sales pipeline, forecasting, and collaborating with our delivery team to ensure a smooth and aligned client experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the full inbound sales cycle from lead qualification to close, with a focus on retained recruiting services
  • Consult with executives and sales leaders to understand their hiring needs and deliver tailored solutions
  • Manage and document pipeline activity in Salesforce CRM, maintaining clean data and accurate forecasting
  • Partner with recruiting and delivery teams to align expectations, handoff details, and set clients up for success
  • Follow up persistently with prospects to drive momentum and close new business
  • Offer insights and feedback to improve sales processes and client engagement strategies

What You Bring

  • 3–7+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in professional services (e.g., consulting, training, or agency services)
  • Demonstrated ability to close deals and manage a consultative sales process end-to-end
  • Experience with inbound lead flow and pipeline ownership
  • Strong business acumen, presence, and communication skills — comfortable speaking with executives
  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM
  • A self-starter mindset — motivated, organized, and accountable for results
