Marcus Evans Summits is the flagship solution offered by the company. Through in-person Summits, we curate matches between buyers and sellers via guaranteed, pre-qualified, mutually agreed one-to-one meetings. We work with world leaders in a variety of industries, including healthcare, legal, pharmaceutical, investments, energy, and packaging. We are searching for a Business Development Associate to develop new accounts and manage client relationships. A successful candidate will complete a 3-month mentorship program and progress into an Account Executive role. We recognize excellence and are fully committed to developing impactful future leaders.

This is an in-person role located in our Laval office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generating and prospecting new leads to create book of business.
  • Targeting General Partners and C-suite decision-makers.
  • Contacting, qualifying, and engaging prospects through email, LinkedIn, and cold calling.
  • Keeping an organized record of sales activity and pipeline.
  • Nurturing new and existing client relationships.
  • Traveling to destination cities nationwide to tend to clients.
  • Acting on behalf of the company and our clients in the delivery of our exceptional products and services.

Qualifications

  • Sales interest: Have a strong desire to pursue a career in B2B sales.
  • Communication and outreach skills: Experience with cold calling and email outreach is a plus.
  • Coachability: Be hungry to learn and open to feedback.
  • Exceptional listening and questioning skills: Successful candidates understand emotional intelligence and tactical empathy.
  • Pipeline management ability: Research, time management, and organizational skills are a must.
  • Achiever mindset: We promote 100% from within and actively develop top performers into successful leaders.
  • $74,000 minimum earnings after 3-month training period. First year OTE $90,000-$110,000. Second year OTE $110,000-150,000.
  • Hands-on mentorship. Continual training through one-on-one coaching, tape training, and role play. Access to sales tape library and sales e-learning system.
  • Manager-in-Training program to support and develop aspiring leaders.
  • Business travel to 5-star resorts in locations like Beverly Hills, Miami, Boston, and Las Vegas.
