Job summary

Scotiabank in Toronto is seeking an Associate Team Lead, Business Banking to guide the BB sales force within a defined territory and align activities with the market strategy.

You will coach Advisors, oversee day-to-day sales operations, support credit decisions on moderately complex deals, and ensure adherence to policies and regulations while promoting client-focused relationships across the bank.

Qualifications

• Moody’s Certificate in Business Banking is required.
• Advanced knowledge of BB sales and service management activities and techniques.
• Proven track record in delivering results in a fast-paced, agile sales environment with leadership and coaching skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders.
• Experience in coaching and developing talent.
• Knowledge of BB credit risk/adjudication policies and processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Business Advisors to deliver business performance and drive sales pipeline for a defined territory.
• Manage day-to-day sales operations and activities of Advisors.
• Support the Team Lead to provide credit support with moderately complex deals and assist in high-value client interaction.
• Coach, develop, and upskill Advisors.
• Deliver formal performance reviews and support career growth.
• Ensure sales practices are compliant with Scotiabank’s Values and Global Sales Principles.
