Job summary

RBC in Toronto is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to lead a team of Advisors in a fast-paced banking environment. You will coach the team to achieve branch sales and referral goals, enhance digital education and multi-channel usage, and ensure top-tier client service.

You will foster engagement through talent development and career planning, while partnering with leadership to optimize branch operations and community outreach. Strong leadership and financial services experience are essential.

Qualifications

2+ years in a people management/coaching role within financial services.
Proven track record in growing business and building client relationships.
At least 2 years of licensed mutual fund sales within the last 3 years.
Mutual funds accreditation (IFIC or CSC).
Completion of the CSI BCO exam or ability to write within 4 months of start date.

Responsibilities

Motivate and coach a high-performing team of Advisors to achieve branch objectives.
Drive sales and referral opportunities through coaching and routines.
Partner with manager to ensure branch operational effectiveness and team performance.
Inspire excellence to deliver a memorable client experience across channels.
Coach on client advice, education, and issue resolution at first point of contact; promote digital enablement.
Build internal and external relationships to support business objectives.
Address local community needs through recruitment and management practices.
