Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Business Architecture, Business Analysis, Process Improvement, or a related discipline.

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE:

Our client is seeking an experienced Business Architect to support a major business transformation initiative. This is an on-site contract opportunity based in Moncton, New Brunswick, with an anticipated 12-month term and strong potential for extension. The successful candidate will focus on understanding and optimizing business capabilities, end-to-end processes, and cross-functional dependencies to enable improved business outcomes.

Working closely with business stakeholders, you will analyze current-state operations, identify opportunities for improvement, and help shape future-state processes that drive efficiency, alignment, and organizational success. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in business architecture, process mapping, gap analysis, and facilitating cross-functional discussions to achieve desired business outcomes.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING IN THE ROLE:

• Lead business capability and end-to-end process mapping across multiple business functions.
• Document and assess current-state business processes, workflows, and operational dependencies.
• Facilitate future-state design sessions and workshops with business stakeholders.
• Identify process, data, and organizational gaps impacting business performance.

WHAT SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS YOU’LL NEED TO DO THE JOB:

• 7+ years of experience in Business Architecture, Business Analysis, Process Improvement, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience with business capability mapping and business architecture frameworks.
• Strong experience with end-to-end process mapping and process optimization.
• Proven ability to perform current-state assessments, future-state design, and gap analysis.
• Experience identifying process, data, and dependency issues within complex organizations.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills.
• Ability to translate business challenges into practical, actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting large-scale business transformation or modernization initiatives.
• Knowledge of business architecture methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with process modeling tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, ARIS, or similar platforms.
• Business Architecture Guild, CBAP, Lean Six Sigma, TOGAF, or related certifications are considered assets.
