Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking a senior business architect to work across the individual insurance processes in Canada, not just a single flow. You will structure functional design and produce the expected business architecture deliverables while supporting both business and IT teams in modernizing existing systems.

This hands-on role requires deep experience in life, health and disability insurance, strong modeling skills (ArchiMate, BPMN), and bilingual French/English.

The client is looking for asenior business architect who can work across the entire individual insuranceprocesses, not just one business flow. The candidate should be able tostructure functional design and produce the expected business architecture deliverables,while supporting both business and IT teams in modernizing existing systems.This isn’t a general enterprise architecture profile; hands‑on knowledge ofindividual insurance is pretty important. The dual focus expected, onfunctional design and application transformation, comes up in both sources andforms the core of the role.

• 8+ years of experience as a Senior Business Architect in IT
  
• Experience in individual insurance (life, health, and/ordisability), minimum 1 to 2 years
  
• Experience in functional design and business architecturedocumentation
  
• Experience in application transformation or modernizationinitiatives
  

PREFERRED

• Experience across all three product lines: life, health, anddisability insurance
  
• Experience with a Quebec-based insurer (e.g., IA, Beneva,SSQ, La Capitale, or equivalent)
  

ASSET

• Bilingualism (French and English)
