Brief description of the position

In order to meet the needs of its customers in the IT sector, FOP EXPERTS CONSEILS is looking for business architect consultants motivated to carry out mandates. The main tasks would be to advise customers on business architecture choices based on strategic orientations, coordinate implementations and knowledge transfer.

Main responsibilities

• Support and advise customers in the design and implementation of business architecture projects;
• Develop solutions based on customers' business architecture orientations;
• Conduct risk analyses to identify hazards and make recommendations;
• Write and obtain approval for Business Architecture (BA) and Opportunity Documents (OD);
• Participate in the development of deadlines and deliverables for various business architecture projects, and subsequently approve them;
• Estimate costs and prioritize implementation operations according to budget and associated costs;
• Produce technical documentation, presentations and reports for training purposes;
• Act as expert advisor to project teams, act as main referent, and collaborate on all technological advancement projects;
• Ensure linkage with other ongoing mandates, projects or initiatives;
• Develop and coordinate acceptance test strategies, and ensure the quality of test execution;
• Identify changes and impacts in all business areas involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering (computer science, software), or other related discipline;
• 5 to 15 years' experience in the IT field;
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in business/enterprise architecture;
• Experience as a business architecture consultant;
• Knowledge of Scrum/Waterfall and conventional agile project management methodologies.
