Job summary

Ocean Pier Inc. in Shediac, NB is seeking a maintenance technician to support factory operations and ensure safe, efficient equipment performance.

The role involves reading blueprints, performing routine maintenance, fabricating parts, and coordinating repairs with contractors to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

  • Secondary school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Experience an asset.
  • Ability to work at a factory/plant setting.
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written).

  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications.
  • Fabricate parts needed during overhaul, maintenance or setup.
  • Install machinery and equipment.

  • Operate hoisting and lifting equipment.
