Job summary

Kentucky Fried Chicken in Delta, BC seeks an experienced restaurant manager to lead daily operations, optimize profits, and oversee a team in a fast-paced environment. You will manage budgets, scheduling, recruitment, and training while ensuring health and safety compliance and strong customer service.

Requires 3–5 years of leadership experience in food service, plus a college diploma. This permanent, full-time role offers on-site work in Delta and opportunities to drive performance and guest

Qualifications

  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a restaurant or food-service leadership role.
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma program (1–2 years).
  • English language work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant's profits.
  • Evaluate daily operations to improve efficiency and profitability.
  • Monitor staff performance and provide coaching.
  • Plan and organize daily operations and shift schedules.
  • Recruit staff and participate in onboarding and training.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
  • Balance cash and prepare cash reports and related forms.
  • Provide excellent customer service and address complaints.

  • Recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster (for example: Ukraine, Afghanistan, etc.)
  • Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition
  • Offers mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees
  • Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees
  • Does not require Canadian work experience
