Job summary

Happy Day Inn in Burnaby is seeking a reliable maintenance worker to perform routine upkeep at the motel, including cleaning, minor repairs and general facilities maintenance.

The role requires 1+ year of experience, on-site work, and the ability to handle physically demanding tasks such as cleaning, moving items, and snow removal. You will coordinate with contractors and ensure a safe, clean environment for guests.

Qualifications

• 1 year to less than 2 years of related work experience.
• Secondary school graduation certificate required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse.
• Empty trash cans and other waste containers.
• Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings.
