Job summary

Leger in Canada NB is seeking a maintenance technician to support production and equipment upkeep. The role requires 2–3 years of experience and is an on-site position at the facility.

You will assist with routine maintenance, setup, and repairs, and work in a physically demanding environment with exposure to noise, dust, and temperature extremes. Strong teamwork and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on maintenance or production experience preferred.
• On-site work with no remote option.
• Ability to work in noisy, dusty, cold/refrigerated, hot, odours, and wet/damp environments.

Responsibilities

• Move tools, equipment and materials as needed.
• Assist tradespersons and other workers as directed.
• Clean machines and work areas; maintain equipment.
• Assist in routine maintenance and repair of equipment.
• Set up and dismantle equipment for production and maintenance tasks.
• Support operation, repair and maintenance activities as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and report issues.
• Make minor adjustments to HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems; escalate major repairs.
