Job summary

CMLS Residential in Calgary is hiring a Business Development Manager, Inside Sales to grow broker partnerships across Alberta, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan and to drive revenue growth. You will educate brokers on product lines, underwriting guidelines, and strategies to position our solutions, while expanding the broker network and improving conversion.

This role spans collaboration with underwriting and regional teams, with strong emphasis on client relationships.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in residential mortgage operations or mortgage sales.
• Strong relationship-building skills and a collaborative approach with sales, underwriting and risk.
• Customer-focused advisor who values relationships over transactions.
• Valid driver’s license is an asset; possession of mortgage licenses is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Drive broker partnerships as the main CMLS contact for Alberta, Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
• Educate brokers on product lines, underwriting guidelines, and strategies to position solutions.
• Identify high-potential brokers and help them grow volume toward milestones.
• Maintain a strong pipeline and look-to-book conversion.
• Collaborate with underwriting and servicing teams and represent CMLS at events.
