Job summary

Geely Auto Canada is seeking a senior communications lead responsible for brand messaging, journalist and KOL engagement, co-branding initiatives, and PR activities including launches, auto shows and CSR programmes.

You will plan and execute PR campaigns, manage media relationships, draft press releases, coordinate with external agencies, and oversee internal communications, with a strong emphasis on measurement, reporting and delivering high-visibility brand exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related fields.
• Minimum 4+ years of professional experience in communications or PR.
• Thrive under high pressure, goal-driven and results-oriented.
• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate and engage effectively with stakeholders.
• Highly target-oriented.
• Advanced reporting and data presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of public relations activities, including events, press conferences, media activations, conventions, sponsorships and co-branding projects.
• Design and develop PR strategies aligned with brand positioning, product messaging and brand communication objectives.
• Report and collaborate with the marketing manager to deliver yearly/quarterly marketing strategy.
• Manage relationships with media outlets, journalists and KOLs in line with brand requirements.
• Draft, evaluate and manage press release workflows.
• Assess sponsorship opportunities, CSR initiatives and other partnership proposals.
• Measure and analyse PR campaign performance and prepare monthly performance reports.
• Oversee, coordinate and monitor external PR agency performance and deliverables.
• Own internal communications initiatives.
