Job summary

Rangam in Canada (Consumer Health) seeks a Manager to Senior Manager level Communications professional to lead end-to-end PR and brand communications initiatives.

Ideal candidates will have progressively senior Communications/PR experience, preferably with both PR agency and in-house communications experience within the CPG/FMCG industry, with strong experience in the Canadian market and the ability to operate effectively within a large, complex organization.

Qualifications

• Progressive PR/communications experience at manager or senior-manager level.
• Experience in both PR agencies and in-house communications in the CPG/FMCG sector.
• Strong understanding of the Canadian market and large organizational dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end PR and brand communications initiatives.
• Develop strategies to strengthen brand and corporate reputation.
• Manage media relations and PR for consumer brands.
• Support issues, risk, and crisis communications (including viral stories).
• Lead internal communications and employee engagement (emails, newsletters, intranet, Town Hall).
• Support senior leaders with communications and presentations.
• Develop strong written messaging and deliver PowerPoint presentations for leadership.
• Assist social media and digital communications; familiarity is a plus.
