Job summary

TD Calgary is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager Trainee to lead and coach staff toward operational excellence and personal development. The role focuses on delivering professional financial advice, resolving complex customer needs, and promoting TD products at the branch level.

You will manage advisory teams, ensure compliance with regulations, and collaborate with TD partners to meet customer goals. Mobility within the district is required as training progresses.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree and/or 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Completion of BCO and IFIC or CSC course.
• Extensive knowledge of team, process, and risk management.
• Proficiency in MS Office and internet applications.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams in investment and unsecured credit compliance transactions.
• Coach advisory and frontline staff on resolving customer complaints.
• Resolve operational and high-risk issues while following policies and regulations.
• Mentor team on advice-giving strategies and delivering customer experience.
• Ensure branch spaces are welcoming and accessible for customers.
• Meet customer demands and compliance by maintaining accurate scheduling.
