Job summary

RBC in Hanna, Alberta is seeking a Branch Manager Advisor who splits time between financial advisory and branch leadership to grow retail business and deepen client relationships.

You will lead a team delivering exceptional service, educate clients to self-serve digitally, and actively engage the community to drive client contacts and growth. The role requires Mutual Funds accreditation, CSA credentials, and an entrepreneurial mindset.

Qualifications

• Valid Mutual Funds accreditation (Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course)
• Completed Branch Compliance Officer course offered by the Canadian Securities Institute, or ability to write an exam within 4 months of start date.
• Entrepreneurial business acquisition mindset

Responsibilities

• Lead a team that delivers an exceptional client experience by guiding clients with advice and leveraging RBC capabilities to meet needs.
• Champion digital enablement by educating clients to self-serve while leading with advice, and encouraging channel preference.
• Lead from the front, engaging clients inside and outside the branch with complex advisory solutions and teamwork.
• Remain locally connected and active in the community, motivating team and RBC Partners to connect with clients and Centers of Influence.
• Strategically manage capacity across the Advisor team, leveraging skills, mobility and traffic flow to drive client contacts.
• Role model and coach our Leadership Model with empathy, kindness, and understanding of circumstances in all interactions.
• Promote inclusion and create conditions where team members and clients’ uniqueness is valued.
• Develop and coach your team on improving proficiency and capability to drive performance and future career progression.
