Job summary

City of Kingston is seeking a part-time Ticket Seller for the Grand Theatre box office. You will sell tickets for all events and assist guests with inquiries, show times, and seating. You may work 0 to 24 hours per week and be a replacement position.

Qualifications

• High school (Grade 12) or equivalent.
• 3 months experience in a customer service environment including cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Process ticket orders in-person, by mail and electronically submitted.
• Provide superior customer service at all times including answer questions regarding shows and show times, and assist with all ticket inquiries.
• Scanning tickets at lobby doors, ensuring accuracy of ticket entry accuracy.
• Accountable for handling cash and reconciliation procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
