Job summary

John Brooks Company seeks an Application Specialist I to provide technical and sales support by preparing quotations, processing orders, and recommending products. You will work closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure accurate order management and successful project execution.

The role requires a college diploma and 3–6 years in a related field, with Epicor P21 experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• College diploma in a related field required.
• 3–6 years in technical sales, customer service or Inside sales.
• Proficiency with order entry and quoting systems such as Epicor P21.
• Solid understanding of customer service principles and best practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Problem solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational and customer service skills.
• Team oriented and collaborative mindset.
• Desirable bilingual (English and French).

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and follow up on customer quotations.
• Provide technical support, product recommendations, costing, and proposals.
• Translate customer requirements into accurate product recommendations.
• Process customer orders and monitor status through completion.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and issue resolution.
• Communicate with customers by phone and email on products and orders.
• Troubleshoot issues with internal teams and manufacturers.
• Deliver after sales support to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Support growth by strengthening customer relationships and identifying opportunities.
• Prepare proposals based on customer requirements and market conditions.
• Maintain records and documentation for quotes, orders, and projects.
• Organize vendor documentation for customer projects.
• Support collections and payment follow up with Accounting.
