Qualifications

• College diploma in a related field.
• 3 to 6 years of experience in a technical sales, customer service, inside sales, or related role.
• Proficiency with order entry and quoting systems (Epicor P21 or similar).
• Understanding of customer service principles and best practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Bilingual English and French is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and follow up on customer quotations.
• Provide technical support, product recommendations, costing, and proposal development.
• Translate customer requirements into accurate product and solution recommendations.
• Process customer orders and monitor order status through completion.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery and issue resolution.
• Communicate with customers by phone and email regarding products, orders, and technical inquiries.
• Troubleshoot customer issues and work with internal teams and manufacturers to resolve concerns.
• Deliver after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Support business growth by identifying opportunities and strengthening customer relationships.
• Prepare proposals based on customer requirements, market conditions, and product offerings.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to quotes, orders, and projects.
• Compile and organize vendor documentation for customer projects.
• Support collections and payment follow-up activities with the Accounting team.
• Follow established sales processes, systems, and procedures to ensure operational efficiency.
