What the day will look like
  • Creating and implementing sales processes and identifying opportunities to create efficiencies in the marketing of our services and the onboarding of newly acquired clients.
  • Supporting market research to identify new business development opportunities and prospect lists.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with Aon producers.
  • Coordinating and arranging client events, meetings, appointments, and conferences.
  • Assisting with the preparation of presentations and pitches for prospective clients.
  • Supporting the writing and distributing agendas, proposals, cost estimates, and briefing documents for internal and external meetings.
  • Creating and maintaining client databases and mail lists, predominantly Aon Connect.
  • Tracking submitted proposals and sales activity, and providing feedback to management.
  • Supporting producers in the generation of meetings for the practice.
  • Develop Aon IQ and Health Solutions acumen.
  • Supporting the development of marketing campaigns and market facing communication/sales strategies to enable the business to win
  • Diligent CRM through Aon Connect, regular contact with prospects, and maintaining a pipeline to achieve sales targets for the year

This position delivers first class customer service, maintains, and develops relationships with potential customers. The ideal candidate will have experience of negotiating, attention to detail and strong time management skills.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
  • Minimum 3-5-years of experience in a sales focused role or environment;
  • Demonstrate strong business development acumen and process development;
  • Demonstrated ability to manage business development activities, projects and reporting;
  • Detail and results-oriented; able to balance multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines;
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills;
  • Must have a positive attitude combined with a desire to contribute to the success of Aon;
  • University degree is an asset.
  • French / English bilingualism preferred due to frequent interactions with clients, colleagues, or partners based in Quebec, other Canadian provinces and/or internationally.
