Job description

Telecon is looking for an energetic, career-oriented individual to join our growing team as Sales Support under Enterprise Cabling Division.

This is a 12-month contract opportunity with a possibility of becoming permanent and will offer a remote work set-up.

Main duties include collaborating with the Sales team and Estimating Teams, reviewing Purchase Orders and proposed Work Orders, and understanding the scope of work required to ensure accurate solutions for our client and RFP and proposals responses. The Sales Support is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations of all assigned projects utilizing best practices to assist the sales team balance and deliver projects on time, on budget, and in scope while ensuring a high quality of service, and mitigating risk, including safety concerns.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist the sales team with qualifying opportunities.
  • Prepare and process sales orders, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Serves as the point of contact for the outside sales representatives.
  • Act as a liaison between customers, sales representatives, estimators and suppliers to ensure accurate and timely communication.
  • Prepare internal reports and dashboards sales performance, order tracking and forecasting.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Previous experience in sales support ideally in communications, electrical, or low voltage cabling industries.
  • High attention to details with excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel and Blue Print reading).
  • Strong organizational abilities and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
