Job summary

MPI, a leading importer and wholesaler of premium seafood products, seeks a Quality Assurance lead to optimize QA systems, ensure strict SOP adherence, and drive audits and supplier compliance across value-add processing lines.

Reporting to the QA leadership, you will handle customer complaints, maintain the food safety program, train staff on policies, and supervise inbound inspections to ensure FIFO and product traceability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of QA experience in meat and poultry
• Experience managing audits for Tier 1 retailers
• Ability to navigate retailer vendor portals and audits

Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance & SOPs: evaluate and optimize QA systems and SOPs across all value-add lines
• Handle customer health and safety complaints and quality-related inquiries
• Co-lead and pass Tier 1 global retailer factory audits; act as CFIA liaison
