Sofina Foods Canada is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead QA programs, regulatory compliance, and HACCP/FSEP initiatives. The role ensures food safety and regulatory adherence to MPIP and CVS, while supporting customer expectations.

The candidate will collaborate with Plant Operations, Product Management and Development teams on product launches, driving quality improvements and audits. A Food Science degree and MPIP certification, with 3–5 years of QA management experience, are

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Food Science or related discipline and 3–5 years of QA management experience.
• MPIP certification required for Evisceration handling.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMPs and regulatory requirements.

Aufgaben

• Develop, implement, maintain QA programs for a federally licensed facility.
• Lead validation programs (moisture, chilling, etc.).
• Oversee regulatory programs: MPIP, CVS, etc.
• Manage microbiology controls for Salmonella, E. coli, Listeria.
• Lead HACCP/FSEP programs to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with Plant Ops and Product teams on launches and specs.
• Drive Quality by Process and corrective actions from audits.
• Ensure products meet customer quality expectations and handle complaints.
• Coordinate environmental sampling and reporting for compliance.
