Job summary

OXARO Inc. in Ottawa, Ontario, seeks an experienced technology integration and project management professional to lead API-based Barcode integration initiatives with partner organizations.

You will coordinate technical requirements, manage pilots and stakeholder communications, and develop agreements with third parties. Fluency in French and English is required; PMP/Prince2 certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience implementing complex technology infrastructures.
• 2+ years of project management experience for new technology implementations.
• Experience with payment or ticketing systems.
• Experience developing applications using an API.
• Bilingual in reading and writing French and English.

• Bachelor level degree as listed or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Engage partner organizations to develop the capability to integrate with the Barcode API.
• Guide partner organizations through the technical requirements to integrate with the Barcode API.
• Provide project management, planning, coordination, and consultation.
• Engage with legal services and external counsel to develop an appropriate legal structure for agreements supporting the integration.
• Ensure a process for financial reporting and billing is established with the partner organizations.
• Provide timely project communications to stakeholders to keep everyone informed on project changes and eliminate surprises.
• Support and coordinate field trials and pilot activities, including delivery plans, stakeholder coordination, and site and vehicle access.
• Coordinate validation feedback, communication plans, and operational and customer readiness.
• Engage new potential third party partners to further expand the integration of transit with ticketed events.
• Develop a project plan and provide regular progress reports at least bi-weekly.
• Prepare stakeholder engagement materials, such as an introductory presentation and onboarding guide.
• Prepare a generic agreement ready to be signed by third party users of the API.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience related to the implementation of complex technology infrastructures.
• 2+ years of experience related to the project management of the implementation of a new technology solution.
• Experience working with payment or ticketing systems.
• Experience developing applications using an Application Programming Interface (API).
• Bilingualism in reading and writing (French and English).
• PMP or Prince2 certification.
• Bachelor of Computer Information Systems, Bachelor of Administration/Commerce, or equivalent.
