FinneyTaylor Consulting Group Ltd. is seeking a part-time Senior IT Project Manager (PMP or Prince2 certified) to lead complex IT initiatives in Ottawa, Ontario.

The role requires strong API integration experience, French-English bilingualism, and a solid PM background in technology deployments. The ideal candidate has extensive IT infrastructure project experience, familiarity with payment or ticketing systems, and a verified PMP or Prince2 certification.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience related to implementation of complex technology infrastructures.
• 2 years of experience related to the Project Management of the implementation of a new technology solution.
• Experience with Payment or Ticketing Systems.
• Experience with developing applications using an API.
• Bilingualism in reading and writing in French and English.
• Bachelor degree in Computer Information Systems or Administration/Commerce or equivalent.
• Must hold a valid PMP or Prince2 Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage partner organizations to develop the capability to integrate with OC Transpo’s Barcode API.
• Guide the partner organizations through the technical requirements to integrate with the Barcode API.
• Provide Project Management, planning, coordination, and consultation for OC Transpo.
• Engage with Legal Services and external counsel to develop an appropriate legal structure for any agreements supporting the integration.
• Ensure a process for financial reporting and billing is established with partner organizations.
• Provide timely project communications to OC Transpo stakeholders to keep all informed of changes.
• Support OCT Field Trials / Pilot activities including planning, stakeholder coordination, site access, and readiness.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex IT initiatives and drive successful project delivery.

Must Have Primary Skills :

• 10 years of experience related to implementationof complex technology infrastructures
• 2 years of experience related to the ProjectManagement of the implementation of a new technology solution
• Experienceworking with Payment or Ticketing Systems
• Experience with developing applications using anApplication Programming Interface (API) Bilingualism in reading and writing(French and English).
• Must be a Bachelor of Computer InformationSystems, Bachelor of Administration/Commerce or equivalent
• Must hold a valid PMP or Prince2 Certification

Nice To Have Secondary Skills :

Full proficiency in French and English is an asset in this role.

Proven Experience In :

• Engage partner organizations to develop thecapability to integrate with OC Transpo’s Barcode API
• Guide the partner organizations through thetechnical requirements to integrate with the Barcode API

• Support and aid in coordination of OCT FieldTrials / Pilot activities including: communicate delivery plans, stakeholdercoordination, access to sites, vehicles, coordinate validation feedback,communication plans, operational and customer readiness
• Engage with new potential third party partnersto further expand integration of transit with ticketed events in Ottawa.
• Bilingualism (Full proficiency in French andEnglish) is an asset in this role.
• Project Plan and regular progress reports (atleast bi-weekly)
• Stakeholder engagement materials - e.g.introductory presentation, onboarding guide
• Generic Agreement ready to be signed by thirdparty users of the API.
